I am selling high quality giclée art prints of my acrylic WipeOut painting (60 cm x 60 cm). The art prints are signed and numbered.
The original painting is acrylic paint on canvas, 60 x 60 cm (and not currently for sale).
About WipeOut
WipeOut took me 57 hours to paint.
WipeOut is inspired by the amazing powers of our brains, by the patterns and visions formed inside my head during a session with closed eyes in front of the incredible cyberdelic light machine, the Lucia No3 - and by playing WipEout in virtual reality on the PS4 with my nephew and niece.
This has been such a puzzle to paint, with lots of moving parts and 51.427 tiny decisions to make, but a fun one for sure! Especially when the entire thing started to look like what I had imagined. …EMERGING from the (previously) white canvas like a 4D landscape. The magic of that moment is the most magnificent buzz.
My first meeting with the light machine that inspired the painting was at the Breaking Convention conference at Greenwich University in London (here’s my article on the conference). Some months later, I was invited to meet up once again with the inventors of the light machine to test out some new functionalities.
This is the second painting in my series inspired by the light machine. (The first one was Slowmotion Explosion, completed on December 31st 2019. You can check it out here: Slowmotion Explosion.)
The second picture is a work in progress photo of the painting, taken three hours before completion.
There are three options with different pricing:
1) Framed canvas (stretched on wooden frame, ready for the wall): 1.919 DKK

2) Giclée art print on paper (Cotton Smooth 265g/m2): 969 DKK.
